Our Story
Artists As Tutors was founded in response to the events in Ferguson, Missouri 2014. We saw an opportunity to support young students who need supplemental education assistance and an empathetic ear.
Our goal is to provide students with homework help and share our skills in music, visual art, creative writing and theater. As artists we bring a foundation of dynamic learning that can benefit students' practical and cognitive skills.
We want to enlist the educators, parents and community members that share our interest in helping these young students.
